Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO) The 48-hour Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics degree is designed to prepare leaders who will utilize science as the framework for problem-solving. The two-year full-time applied science curriculum combines clinically oriented coursework in rehabilitation medicine, allied health science, and prosthetics/orthotics with engineering. This interdisciplinary graduate program is housed in KSU’s Department of Exercise and Sport Management in the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services.
The GSOP is a continuing education and membership association. Membership and attendance is open to anyone, regardless of state of residence, who is interested in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
Establishing and maintaining solid connections with the therapy community is critical for achieving successful patient outcomes and ensuring the growth of your business. Your referral sources need continuing education credits and they’re eager to learn more about the rehabilitation and care of persons with limb loss and those in need of orthotic assistance. Position yourself as an expert by becoming a CE provider and facilitating the cohesive team approach necessary for treating patients in today’s complex healthcare environment.
